Greetings,

I've got enough Oratex for the Kolb Firefly I'll finish later this year, and it seems Oratex recommends (requires?) some form of primer on bare metal. They aren't at all specific about primers though. I've used the Polyfiber system on bare aluminum before, and never imagined having to prime aluminum for any fabric glue. I know the Oratex glue is a bit different, but it's hard for me to believe it would be better to put it on primer vs bare (clean, oil free) aluminum tubing. I'll certainly do some testing, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with Oratex on bare aluminum?
