Just another noob.

I've been flying for 6 years, all in certified AC. No special skills or knowledge but I do like to tinker. I've rebuilt a few cars, maintained my own cars & motorcycles, and engineered quite a few industrial turbine controls (I get paid to do that), so I'm not totally inept, just ignorant and inexperienced.

I've been thinking I should build something to fly for a while now. I've researched a few options. I think if I ever get to retire I would like to build something like a fly baby from plans but for now I'm looking for something quicker from a kit. The Airbike looks like a really fun machine and if built from a short or complete kit it might only take 2 or 3 years:shock: I've posted an engine question regarding the airbike in the Firwall Forward section if any cares to chime in.

Anywho, I enjoy reading the forums here and hope to learn alot from all of you. Someday maybe I'll be able to give a little back.
