When plans call for parts with a bend does it matter if you use a press brake or box n pan?

Does the 'crushing force' (again, newb here) used by the press brake make weaker bends than one simply bent with a box n pan?

I have a few heavy fab companies near me with 12-16ft press brakes that could shear bend AL without issue for cheaper than I could buy a box n pan brake.
