Not quite a home built but plenty of pieces parts will be. I bought a Grob 109 motor glider. Picked up a few engines including a Type 4 Great Plains and a Limbach L2400EB1. Some other spare parts. Every time I went looking for information on VW based aircraft engines in Google it kept bringing me here. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know :)
While I fly powered aircraft I love flying gliders and....eventually, a "touring motorglider".
Four years of flying in the US Army was enough for me. My friends consider helicopters an 'un-natural' way of flying so I am mending my evil ways.
