Hello, My name is Phillip D. Dean (Dando), card-carryin' hillbilly. I was an aircraft mechanic on B-52s and KC-135s during the Vietnam war. I've never flown and hold no licenses in aviation. I just purchased an Early Bird Jenny 2/3 kit plane form a guy who bought it from an estate auction. It's powered by a Rotax 503, which doesn't look like it's been run very much, and the plane is said to have never been flown, and I believe it. I plan to disassemble and strip the skin off, inspect everything, and reassemble. Right off, I think it needs stronger gussets. I'm trying to order a set of plans to assist me in my endeavors. PDD
