Hi I am a new member by name of Alan based now in Uk used to live in south Africa , have built and worked on a few planes, currently rebuilding a biplane microlight called a tiger cub which was built here in the UK, the plane has blue foam for wings and other flying surfaces.

I am bracing the fuselage with spruce after removing the blue foam as joints had failed and I felt this area could benefit from spruce bracing and am doing this. The plane will be operated under new regs which have deregulated all single seat microlights.

Hope to get lots of advice as am creating a wood frame to brace the rear fuselage and to attach the original Ali tube in the rear fuselage.
