Hello everybody,
I am new to forums so this will take me a little getting use to. I have been building model airplanes since about 1965 and still do . I am into RC mainly and really like the scale war birds. I have a P-47,a Warthog ducted fan, F4U Corsair and am currently working on a BT-67 which is a C-47 converted to a turbo prop. I live in Oshkosh WI and have my A&P license. I have been working at Basler Turbo Conversions for the last 14 years doing the turbo conversion on the full scale C-47's. I don't know if any of you have heard of them but it is an awesome airplane. You can check things out by googling Basler Turbo Conversions. I have always wanted to build a home built airplane but really couldn't afford it. However someone I work with asked me if I wanted a half built Replica Plans SE-5A for free. This is very tempting so I may have my first project after all. There is only one problem with it though, it doesn't have any plans. Somehow I have to find plans before anything can happen. I am going to take a look at it tomorrow to see what shape it is in. Glad to aboard with you guys and if anyone can help me send a reply. Thanks.
