Hi,

There are a few new additions to the free open source avionics projects in the MakerPlane repository to tell you about. This includes a range of avionics formerly of Vx Aviation and includes audio mixers and amps for aircraft radio/cell/MP3, lamp annunciators, tone/warning generator and wiring hubs. I have created a new "Downloads" page that provides an entry point to the projects in the Open Source respository as well as links to the shop if anyone wants to purchase PCB, kits or assembled units. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page you will also see that we have uploaded the complete electrical and avionics wiring schematics for a VFR glass cockpit aircraft. It includes common wiring for non-EFIS systems including master, ignition, audio, lighting, flaps, autopilot etc that might be useful to anyone building an aircraft. This panel also has implementations of the open source avionics in our repository. See this post for more info. We currently have 24 open source avionics projects with more on the way. If anyone would like to contribute or add more projects, let me know. The more the better!

Cheers!

John Nicol
