I am just setting up my Kawasaki 440 on my mini straton D-7. I am using a single mikuni 34 with a Mikuni pump. I am having problems with the float bowl fuel overflowing while running. it flows increasingly as the throttle is advanced. I have taken it apart at least six times to check why. The floats are free and not fuel logged. the float arm moves with the slightest touch. I have pulled the needle and checked it. it looks fine. no chatter marks or anything. I finally just replaced the needle and seat with a new one. Still des the same thing. tried taking the carb off and puting a tube on the fuel inlet. The flow shuts off when the carb is inverted just fine. The float arm is parallel with the body. Mine has a baffle plate under the seat. I am going to remove that next. Any ideas?
