First off I can not pant very well. Recently while painting a cleaned up small fairing I used a cheap enamel from a can that turned out to be very low solids. I could hardly see it and had to use multiple coats (6 or so one every 20 sec or so). Well I never had something turn out so well in my life. I am getting conflicting answers as to is it possible to mix paint up this way. Some say one can not thin high solids paint well, others say I need the proper thinner and yes it can be done. I also do not see any reference to solids on the label, is that a specification I should be able to find?
