I'm interested on converting a design I like from aluminum into composite. Besides the obvious structural redesign necessary are there any changes needed just because of things that work well in metal but not in fiber? The design I'm looking at emulating is the Prowler. It will be a while before I can get it off of the screen so for now the redesign process is more of a mental exercise and educational. The reasons to use the prowler as a starting point are:
It was designed to take an auto V-8.
It was Fast.
Has acceptable economy at speed.
Seats two
I find the warbird inspired appearance without the poor scaling found in replicas appealing.
Thanks in advance for any information.
