Doing a bit more in-depth look at the number of engines of various types installed, or HAD been installed, in homebuilt aircraft.

This plot summarizes the results for Lycoming engines.

The blue bars show the number of EAB aircraft in the current homebuilt fleet, while the yellow section shows those examples that are no longer registered. The "Lycoming" bar includes all engines, but only the types where the total is greater than 1,000 examples are specifically called out.
