Hello everyone!

I'm brand new to the community and I wish to introduce myself. I'm a 26 year old sailor stationed in Virginia Beach, VA. I have been working on F18s as a avionics tech for 5 years now with three combat deployments under my belt, (salty!) and will transition to Lemoore, CA within two months. That is how I got started in aviation but went further and earned my private pilots certification 2 years ago. Shortly thereafter a friend took me up for a ride in his RV-8 and from that moment on, I knew experimental aviation was in my blood.

I have been researching what to build since then and am almost ready to make a decision. Center-line seating and aerobatics are mandatory which are limited by build difficulty and cost. What options that leaves me with are RV-3/4 and Midget Mustang. Any input you have is highly appreciated.

Glad to be here. Looking forward to discussions in the future!
