Right now, I'm just in the investigation mode. Back in 1976, I bought plans (at Oshkosh) for a Thorpe T-18 after flying a spectacular example in North Little Rock, AR. I was only 21 years old, and I bought a few parts, piddled a little, and the plans got stored away for the next 45 years. I know that build is far to ambitious for me at my age. I'm looking at a 2 place LSA, but would love to find something with a little personality! So, I'm in those really early stages of trying to figure out what I want to build, but what else am I going to do with my time? I soloed at age 16 (1971) and got my license in 1972. I now hold Private SEL/MEL/Instrument. I look forward to picking your brains!

If anyone has any suggestions for a project, I'd love to hear your thoughts. When I was a more affluent and active pilot, I had a real affinity for Aero Commanders, Bellancas, but, I think Cessna has been getting it right for many years! Now, to find something for those 150 mile trips instead of the 1500 mile trips...
