At the end of each compression tube in the wings is a "button" over which the compression tube fits and is aligned. That button is held to a small (2-inch square) aluminum plate with a small screw. That assembly is bolted to the spar. The button is threaded and the screw simply goes through a countersunk hole in the place and into the button. There is no nylon lock nut and no hole protruding through the screw for a safety wire. In fact, the screw doesn't protrude past the button. I'm assuming I should simply use Loctite on the screw threads. Is that correct? If so, what kind of Loctite should I use?
