I've got a rod end that needs to be safetied in some manner but the standard jam nut solution won't work in this application.

The green bolt needs to be locked to the rod end.
The rod end needs to be able to slide in the mount. The actual mount will bump up against the blue block as one limit stop.
The rod end/ bolt combination needs to be able to rotate in both the mount and the blue block. There will be no movement needed with load applied.
The length of the bolt/rod end assembly may need adjustment in the field.
The -6 sized parts have a FOS of almost 3.

I've considered milling a slot in the bolt and drilling the rod end to use something similar to an MS turnbuckle clip.

Any other ideas? I'm probably missing an obvious, and simple, solution... :emb:
