This 68 year old grandmother has gotten bit by the flying bug. Started looking at LSA; so far the CH 750 or the Super STOL seem to fit the mission. Years ago I had a twenty foot sloop and enjoyed gunkholing - as long as I kept four feet under Angie's keel.

Now retired I'm think of becoming an air vagabond. Hop here and there, meet and greet - and take pictures. I have a few pics here if you're interested (photosig.com, username Helen/topazhn). I work in medium format and am considering large format, but the research is as involved as this flying thing.

I have technical and mechanical skills (twenty years power plant experience). Building is beyond my current financial reach, even a section at a time. But a local flying school offers a PPL I can afford. I know I don't need a PPL for LSP's, but it gives me options. Hopefully the STOL day sailor will come anon.

Cheers!
