Here's a preliminary scheme for a geodetic midwing Player (in a hat tip to Wm. Earl Player, geodetic homebuilt pioneer).
Fixed, Fly Baby type gear. Wing wire braced to a 3-point, Buhl Pup style cabane on top and axle on the bottom.
34" spun aluminum cowl. Round fuselage aft of the firewall is drawn with 33" diameter to allow for 2 x 1/8" spiral wound helixes with 1/4" longitudinal stringers on tom. 6 evenly spaced longerons. General layout follows a Fly Baby shrunk by 4" in length to accommodate a Rotec 2800 mounted 4" aft for CG.
Doubt I will ever get to build such a thing, but noodling on it has been an interesting introduction to Shapr3D modeling.
One challenge will be designing the wing attach bulkheads, particularly the fwd bulkhead, which probably cannot run straight across the cockpit.
