I have read that this method is easy to use on compound curved surfaces.
How hard is it to maintain a constant spacing of the slats?
It seems to me that if you take a straight line (a slat) and place it on a curved surface, and then place a second one next to it, that they will eventually cross each other. Just like geodetic lines on a globe.
Or do you curve the slats in two directions to maintain the spacing?
