Hello, my name is Jake im 30 yrs old and i've been interested in aviation since I was a kid. I am at a place in my life where I might just be able to make this crazy dream happen. I have zero experience, I fly RC thats as close as it gets. My goal is to obtain my private pilot license and eventually have my own aircraft, right now my sights are set on a chinook that I would like to build myself. I have some fab skills, I have built a few rock crawlers. Solid axle conversions, tube bending, welding ect. I am seeking any guidance or tips for a newbee on flight schools or just a general direction I should take. I am located or Nor Cal. Thanks for looking.
