I'm very much interested in using a particular air/fuel meter on my build but it only comes in two lengths. Too short and too short.
Actually, 3 feet and 8 feet. But since I'm doing a pusher 8 feet isn't going to reach. Is it realistic to assume the lead can be cut and spliced with appropriate wire and connectors and still have it behave properly at 16 feet?

The unit I am interested in is the Innivate 3918 to be used on a Corvair engine.
