Looking through airfoiltools.com for a relatively thick airfoil with good lift and low pitching moment for a modest LSA/microlight two-seater, I came accross the Eppler 1213. It meets those criteria at 17.4% thick with a max CL of over 1.6 and low pitching moments. The best L/D ratio kicks in at an AOA of about 5 degrees which suggests poor top speed but good economical cruise and stall behavior looks fine as far as you can tell from this data. The plots are for a Reynolds number of 1,000,000. Thoughts on the pros and cons of using this airfoil or something similar? Cheers, Matthew
