I just bought a 3W 200 B2, at perhaps a very good price on E-bay. German made dual ignition with muffler and ignition. By my calculation it appears I might need to limit the RPM at straight and level. I only want it for climb in an aux powered UL glider, but to stay Part 103 legal or to prevent over-speed I am seeking an Electronic RPM Limiter. I do not know if/how these items work with these engines, but if any one might know they probably are here. Any brand recommendations or links ????? I did see Dana reference a simple tie in to the rpm gauge but with electronic rpm gauge at 7500 RPM I am not sure how that would work.
