Good day all,

I am new to this forum in that this is my first post, however, I have spent considerable time reading in these threads over the years (and other forums as well). I am posting here since I have found this to be the most informative and trust someone here can provide the correct information.

My question is rather specific: What will be the 'best' motor, prop and controller combination to provide 75kg net thrust?

I realize there is seldom a 'best' solution, since there are various criteria to base this on. I am only interested in the absolute lightest solution for the entire drive system to produce 75kg net thrust, price at this stage is not important.

The motor is for a quad rotor project being able to lift a human. At this point I suspect the Plettenberg Nova 30 could be used, but I am eager to hear your suggestions.

Thank you in advance for any inputs!
