Please let me know if this has been covered in another thread (haven't been able to find one).

If the objective were to install a basic glass device in lieu of a six-pack, plus GPS nav, (engine gauges would be nice, too, but not essential), what's the best budget-conscious option now (recognizing that tech evolves quickly)? There would be no back-up (this is legal in E/AB right?), but the intent is not to fly IFR.

My early read is that Dynon owned this space, but have since moved on to more wiz-bang (capable but expensive) panels.
