Could an aircraft design be optimized for production on a homebuilt CNC router table?

A guy had indeed machined most components of a Cri-Cri out of his homebuilt CNC router, but that plane is quite complicated and it was not designed with CNC machining in mind.

If a manufacturer offers a kit that is comprised of CNC router table(can be for lease), pre-programmed G-code, and a bunch of aluminum stock, would this kit be cheaper than the alternatives(quick-build)? The price difference will be the labor cost minus the cost/lease of the CNC machine I suppose.

Can this business model be viable for a Sonnex for example?
