Hi all,
Please excuse if this topic already exists.
Am designing a WSA (trike) and am in a circular argument with myself and the design considering the preferred nose wheel size. Structurally, more 'beef' in the front would be beneficial in a front-wheel landing, but anything over 15 degrees is going to be nasty anyway.

Rears are 6.00 x 6 McCreary's (17" dia.). Some 'experts' have decreed the only safe landing with a direct pilot controlled front wheel is an 8" rim. I suspect this is because many commercial WSA here in the USA use sole front wheel braking (BAD idea IMHO).

Any comments?

Thanks,
Chris
