Stumbled onto this method I think Kitfox and Avid have used a variant. The 1/4 web seems heavy to me.
Wing For lightness could a stick built 1/4" rib be integrated into a 5/8" plywood block to bond to the spar?
Victor did it again by Rolling a Aplane with wood but appears to have used a tube wing. I would think Wood Wings Should be used! I have attached pictures for those not on FB.
