Why are there no 2 1/4" (57mm) NAV radios? or are there?

There are several 2 1/4" (57mm) COM radios and even transponders, but why aren't there any NAV radios to match? Some of these COM radios even have the ability to receive down to the 108Mhz frequency but provide no NAV output. Even the Sporty's hand-held radios can give NAV guidance. The SP-400 will even give ILS guidance. Am I missing some obvious reason these aren't available?
