Hi all,
I have a problem with my radio, and I have isolated it, I think. I have two identical ICOM IC A200's, one is installed in my airplane, the other was to be installed, but will not be at this time. I recently tested the radio and found out that it receives loud and clear, transmits on the PTT but does NOT transmit my voice.*
I swapped out the radios and had the same results. I assume it is either a wireing problem going from the radio connector to the MIC jack, or the MIC jack itself is defective. The jacks are so simple, I assume they can't go bad, or ? Any ideas?

*At our aerodrome we have a radio check function. You click 4x on the PTT and a message comes over your headphone "Radio Check". Here you are supposed to hit your PTT and speak. It then plays back what it received. On my ICOM IC A24 handheld I hear my voice coming back. On the IC A200 I hear only fuzzy noise.
