=propeller drive=circa 3 kG/HP specific thrust...

=flapping wing drive (f.e. AZAZEL, supersilent !) > 24 kG/HP .

-something more AR (20 m span) and we have THRU AIR BICYCLE !!!
Sorry but I will still stay with fixed wings :)
No moving parts = more safety.
Long wing span or too flexible wing = problem with aeroelasticity.
As I wrote... for me simplicity = safety.
Lower noise can be achieved by bigger prop diameter and lower RPM.

What is "THRU AIR BICYCLE "? AZAZEL ?
"АЗАЗЕЛЬ" ," AZAZEL" =Vladimir Toporovs HPV with effective flapping thruster
(24 kG/HP)...

=iff some modyfications +better "powerbank"= pilot/driver + better L/D ( 20 m span instead 12 m)
you can fly bird-like !

Rolls Royce's new 500 HP, 300+mph, electric record-breaker "Spirit of Innovation" will generate massive publicity for electric motive power.
Rolls is also partnering with Tecnam to build a 9-passenger "P-volt" commuter-aircraft for Norway(which has cheap hydro-power).
Electric-motive-power has an exciting future! Check out the "100RentalCars" 2021 road-test of the new Tesla Model 3......you'll see what I mean!

Interesting - thanks :)
Is somewhere mentionned also price?
This coudl be nice "source" of electric propulsion - like ZERO motorcycles.
107 kW max/cont. power - far too much, but coud be nice for airshow (STOL takeoff) :)
18,9 kWh battery is OK even for aerodynamically clean two seat UL.
3 kW on board 220 V charger is OK. Optionally would be good to have optionally also 400 V "fast charger" version.
So main question is.... how much for this "nice toy" :)

If case of "affordable" price would be good to ask prioducer also for details like weight and dimension of battery and weight, dimensions... more data about motor. Oil cooling is definitelly interesting solution.

Found with Google help...

"The price of the Energica electric motorcycle is not cheap but comes in lower than the Damon Hypersport and the Harley LIveWire. The new 21.5kW powerpack models will top $20,000, but this still comes in around $10,000 cheaper than the LiveWire."

That is not so bad :)
For comparizon with ZERO.... (again with Google help).

2020 Zero Motorcycle Lineup Prices (MSRP):
  • 2020 Zero DSR Black Forest Edition: $18,995.
  • 2020 Zero DSR: $15,495.
  • 2020 Zero DS: $10,995.
  • 2020 Zero FX: $8,995.
  • 2020 Zero SR: $15,495.
  • 2020 Zero S: $10,995.
  • 2020 Zero FXS: $8,995.
