Really like the printed-carbon wing construction in #3049.....cheap and easy to cover.....
Long ago, BD-4 had integral light-weight fibregless rib-and-skin "wing-segments" that were "hand-laid-up". Finished segments were threaded over aluminiun tube-spar and glued and clamped to the spar.. Skins were glued into eachother like hand-and-glove. Maybe someone could comment whether carbon-printing could be applied to this way of simple and fast-building a constant-chord wing?
