Hi i am restoring a ScheibeFalke SF25E, and need to make a new instrument-panel.
The original is 1,5 mm thick, and has a 90 degree fold on the bottom, to make it stiff, and is fastened in only a few spots, so it is very hard.
What type if aluminum should i use ?
O-sheet to be able to do cut-outs easy, and then harden it afterwards (can I do that myself ?) or 6064 alu ?
Any suggestions ?
