Does anyone know if the raw tubing in the Wagaero Trainer kit is already cut to size & coped ?
Also the "drawings " set they have listed for sale , are those full size paper plans ?
I cannot afford to buy a done up plane. Can't find any reasonable priced basket planes or barn finds in Illinois. I've always wanted a J3 Cub. Buying one isnt an option. So I figured scratch building is the next best option. I am leaning more towards a wagaero fuselage kit ,simply because all the material will come in one shipment. I wont have to fiddle with ordering 20 different sized tubing. I figured I'd build the fuselage over a year's time . Then buy a wing kit and so on.
I believe the wagaero kit is the best bang for my buck. I still have to build a table to build on and get my surrounding areas ready.
