About the plywood. "There are no BS 1088 police." No one polices the standards.
What do you use for the little square of 3/4" ply on the firewall?
BS 1088 doesn't apply to the Doug Fir ply you show. And it only controls the manufacturing process not the strength properties.
The plans call for Marine or exterior ply for the firewall. I used exterior ply from the lumber yard. A VP-1 firewall will fit on one of those 2'x2' project panels from the big box stores. =/<$10?
I envy you guys who live in a part of the country where they can find good DF stock locally.
