Does anyone have a dimensioned drawing or just the numbers on the height and diameter of a Vertex magneto as installed in a VW? Thanks!

EDIT: Good news, I found one. Bad news, it's still not completely clear. Diameter seems clear at 3.75" but the height above the engine is still unclear for the VW Vertex (model 704000, I think). 9" seems like a good place to start. I was trying to compare with the Davis Unified Ignition (DUI), which is 8.5" high but 5.25" in diameter.

If anyone can confirm the VW Vertex figures that would still be a big help.

Yikes, TF, that's a big difference, I hope someone can confirm the right figure.

I hear you, Pops, and the Slick is an option, just kicking around some comparisons in my head and wanted to have hard numbers for Vertex.

PS--I found a scale drawing of a VW with a Vertex magneto in the Evans design handbook. There aren't many dimensions marked, but extrapolating from those that are there, 9" looks about right for the height of the Vertex above the edge of the distributor hole.
