I did searches here for vacuum bag set ups and only found a few references.
The idea I like best is reversing a compressor ( oil-less preferred ). While looking for veneers for another project I found the following.
Yes they sell partial parts kits but also list all parts needed if you want to Lowes or Home Depot it.
Several plans, plus there is a chart on the site that gives cfm and project size. DIY Vacuum Press - PDF Downloads
