I am in the initial thought experiment phase of a high wing STOL tube and rag U/L powered by a 50hp GPU turbine...
Essentially a shrunken Turbine Helio Courier in single seat form... drool...!:gig: With the flaps and slats driven by a tube-in-tube cam arrangement...and an electric prop that can beta...giggle (wonder how short that will land!)
Has anyone here EVER seen such a beastie? Something that my wife can pop around in...:grin:
I am going to buy 3 of these little turbines...1 for this project, 1 as a parts engine...and 1 to run a generator to power our house... (all will be fueled by waste vegetable oil)
Its gonna be fun to tell the power co to stick it in their right ear...
