Anyone recognise this airframe? Just popped up for sale locally. Has a Zenoah engine mounted, folding wing/tail surfaces. Owner has no idea as to design/kit seller. Still trying to get more info. Apparently an estate item.

It’s been on HBA recently. I don’t remember if consensus was scratch or not.

I can't identify it but will be interested if someone else does. That's a very interesting approach not unlike some of the ideas that have come up in recent conversations about cantilever wings and blind-riveted aluminum tube-and-fabric construction in the 21st century Volksplane? thread.

Tail feathers that fold along with the wings. Don't think I've ever seen that before. I'm gonna go out on a limb though and say it's probably not the next best thing in carrier aviation.

The tail feathers on the Kolb fold up so that the wing can rotate and fold flat against the tail boom.
