The Tipsy Junior was a late 1940s low-cost single-seater designed by E.O. Tips, who had also designed the pre-WWII Tipsy monoplanes and the later and better-known Tipsy Nipper aerobat. I have mentioned it before because of the unusual fuselage design using essentially non-structural turtledecks top and bottom. Like so many other post-WWII light planes it was not successful and only two were built with J.A.P. (licensed Aeronca) engines though one was later modified with a larger and sleeker Walter Mikron. Here's a great, recently released pic from the collection of the late Walter van Tillborg that I thought was worth sharing followed by a few that I have posted before. Cheers, Matthew
