Hi,
I joined this forum on 3 Jan 2008 - a week shy of three years ago - and I had been trying to design and build an aircraft for a few years before that. So after about five years of battling, learning and experimenting, I have finally got myself a great workshop about 3 minutes walk from our new flat here in Brisbane, and I'm ready to build the final version. Our furniture and belongings (including my tools) arrive mid Jan, and so I'm expecting to begin building the Razorback F1 ("Fits 1") by mid to late Feb.

I have spawned two separate threads here on HBA with my design growing pains, and many of you have been incredibly kind and helpful as you steered me away from design dead-ends, and encouraged me to read design texts, and to ask questions. Two members have even taken my 2-D drawings and turned them into beautiful renderings. Thank you.

So here I am, with workshop secured, design work completed, and my eyes firmly set on beginning the actual construction shortly.

Thanks to all who have helped me thus far.

I'll be posting regular photos, and will be inviting comments, of course.

The plan is to get the Razorback in the air by Christmas 2012.

Cheers,
Duncan
