That's great! So it would seem that Mike fixed the things he was unhappy with before. I hope he returns here to HBA to fill us in on the details!

A 2 place side by side plank probably requires a tractor engine to have the payload on the CG, vision from a tractor plank requires some serious design compromises, better tandem seating and pusher where the pilot balances the powerplant.

Mike, what are you going to do for the yaw capabilities?

Although not as good as a conventional aircraft, the modified rudders are more effective. I could increase the size a bit more, but i am not contemplating a major redesign at the moment. the aircraft has a sturdy main undercarriage and can stand a touch down with some side drift, like the Flying Flea with no ailerons. some were fitted with a castering UC to cope with landing in crosswinds.
