The VP-12 is a two-seater airplane, designed for amateur flights, initial training, tourism, monitoring operations, entertainment flights, etc.
The main features of the VP-12 aircraft are a very high aerodynamic quality, which allows it to be used as a motorcycle glider in the CS-22 category, and the possibility of using an electric power plant on this aircraft. High aerodynamic quality significantly improves the safety of the flight in case of engine failure and allows to have high cruising speed, range and duration of the flight in comparison with similar aircraft.
Due to the high aerodynamic quality, the aircraft has a minimum fuel consumption, which leads to very low operating costs.

The aircraft has a scheme of a classic low-wing airplane with a tractor engine in the nose section of the fuselage, a T-shaped tail, is equipped with a tricycle landing gear with a steerable nose wheel.

One-piece wing of the aircraft is made of carbon, which increases reliability and allows to reduce the weight of the glider and the cost of production. There are ailerons, flaps, and interceptors on the wing.

The fuselage of the half monocoque construction is made of carbon and has power frames and ordinary frames, and skin in the form of a sandwich panel.

A non-retractable landing gear with a pedal-operated front foot simplifies steering on an airplane.

To save the crew in case of an unforeseen emergency, there is a rescue parachute system that saves the entire plane with the crew. The parachute throws out a special rocket, which allows you to open the dome very quickly and at low altitude.
