Lynn Williams flagged this for me, thought others might like to see it as well. The takeoff performance of this nice Flitzer biplance, actually the prototype Rotec R2800-powered Stummelflitzer Z-1R, is pretty impressive.

"Better wet pants, than a broken neck"
I sent the same video to David the builder of my Poorgirl, thinking I had bumbled across something really offbeat, and he shot me back a picture of a large scale Channel Wing RC model he built for a customer.
I don't post much anymore, but I thought I would make an exception for this:
After putting 3 more pinch holes in a tube with 3 holes in it I patched from one single nail, and 6 patches later and all the associated taking apart and putting it back together, and it still leaking with yet another pinch hole #4, and out of time to do Patch#7 all for what was one nail, I decided to look around and see if someone had some better tools than the flat pry bars I was using to do this... without pinching the tube again and again and again every single time I reassembled a tube tire and inflated it. Apparently, the tools are called "motorcycle tire spoons" and valve stem fishing tool.
Great footage, thanks !
Yes, I live in my own little world, but it's pretty sparkly in here

Everything didn't go as planned in the beginning of aviation.
Nice aerobatic competition flight pilot’s view:
If you are not familiar with aerobatic competition, watch for the small white box markers on the ground. The cross marks the center of the box.
