As many are aware, I am working toward an ultralight biplane inspired by the Curtiss-Stinson Special, a 1-off biplane built for Ms. Katherine Stinson before WW1. Rather than having to fight with flying wires, due to the need to remove and reinstall the wings for stowing the plane, I am planning to use a strut-braced biplane setup. I do not have a dedicated shop (yet), as other, more urgent projects have taken priority. That said, I have a good idea of how I will be building the wings, but I have no clue how to test them for strength. Thinking ahead, for now and may attempt to build a single side wings and struts, in order to be able to test them.

How do you test biplane wings, vs monoplane wings?
