Looks like it will solve Quadratic Equations well enough. Glad to see that Knuth's stuff still works.

$$z_{n+1}=z_{n} ^2+c$$
When an equation is in the middle of a sentence, $${-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}$$ it looks like this.
$$l=qSC_l$$
$$q=1/2\rho V^2$$

I have noticed that if I use the "simple editor," the latex equations show up as raw, e.g.
Code:
z_{n+1}=z_{n} ^2+c
If I post using the "more options" editor, it translates into equations correctly. Not something that needs a fix necessarily, just interesting. Also, previewing a post shows raw code.

Lots of fun stuff out there to play with: https://www.rpi.edu/dept/arc/training/latex/LaTeX_symbols.pdf

I bet we could even figure out how to give BJC directions to the grocery store in his Pitts... (pig Aresti?)
$$\multimap \Rsh \looparrowright \twoheadrightarrow \curvearrowleft$$
