Ted, here. I'm a new member hoping to build a UL or LSA single seat Parasol of some sort in the near future. I'm a very hands on guy; woodworking, construction, auto mechanics, motorcycle mechanics, welding, etc. I've build an '81 Harley Low Rider up from a basket case and a '52 Ford F1 pickup up from a basket case. I guess it's time to build an airplane.
I'm a retired Mechanical Design Engineer with a long history of designing machines of many types, focusing on automation...yes I'm an experienced CAD jockey, too. :)
I've already found a wealth of information and knowledge on this forum and look forward to being a participating member. 👍
Oh, and BTW, I live in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
