Just curious... most tailwheel linkages are done with a length of chain and a compression spring. Has anyone tried replacing the lenth of chain with a swaged cable? Seems like it would be lighter with less drag.

If not that, then has anyone tried using some sort of gas struts to link the rudder horn with the tailwheel?

Like I said... just curious.

Bruce :)
