Can anyone tell me the wing root bending moment (at the wingspar/crossbar interface) of the SWIFT (the all-wing, foot-launch sailplane)?
Also, how to calculate it, it appears that it would be calculated as for a strut-braced spar because of the support the crossbar provides the wing so far outboard of the root. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Dewey
