I've been a members for a few months but nothing to say. Introducing self: Started a flying club. A wonderful member donated his Ercoupe for us to rebuild so we'd be able to afford an airplane. It has a clear pull closed at the top canopy which will make for a lot of sunshine. I know you men have a lot of experience with too much sun leading to skin cancer. As woman me too especially at my senior age. Here's the answer. I wear sunblock on face & arms. A fishing shirt (polyster) does a good job blocking the sun so does a polyster gater. Cotton feels better but it won't block the sun, polyster will. I found a couple of gaters at Walmart for $2something. They are the same thing you sometimes wearoverover your face to go hunting. Then of course a good pair of sunglasses & a billed cap or hat.
